No, I don't think any manager can do that at any club really (No doubt there will be one or two rare exceptions.) When the crowd is done with the manager it usually only leads one way.

I was all for him coming in because we were in the mire and I thought an old school approach might act as the rocket required to be inserted in certain parts of the squad.

It has been a complete disaster though and who comes in i've no idea, but Sam has to go at the end of the season at the latest.

Allardyce, Pardew and Pullis all fall into that same managerial bracket.

Which is evidenced by the fact that they`ve all been on an almost continual loop, of managing clubs in trouble.

They are share other similarities, in that their belief in their own ability, is outweighed by the reality, they are all repugnant and arrogant.

Plus, their own fans always end up turning on them.

Allardyce could`ve been anyone from three managers, it`s just that at the time he was the only one available.
