No matter how you look at it, that was a tough game for us yesterday. But and here is the but, we should have done better. In that second half Stoke played a higher line and we kept breaking down the flanks but couldn't create enough to hurt them.

I watched on from our end and kept seeing pockets of space left by Stoke and we had no attacking intent to destroy them. We just wasn't clinical enough and I think Gylfi was a big loss in the no 10 role. We had nobody behind Tosun.

A side with a quality attacking unit would have put 5 past them. The spaces they left were incredibly open! But nobody in the centre to drive at them.

This buffoon will never ever change, when asked on MOTD about 40points etc he said we can start planning for next season.

That to me is writing the remaining fixtures off, any decent manager would have said it’s my job now to finish the season as strongly as we can and as high up as we can, as this Everton and that is where we should be.

Next season if this buffoon is in charge all he will be saying is let’s get to that magic 40 points mark, THIS IS ALL HE KNOWS, some fans on here can’t see that

Then why didn't he come here?

Instead he fannied about, let it go to his head and then got sacked.

Near miss for me that.
Because Watford didn’t except our bid. If Watford said the price is 20mil and we paid it. Silva would be our manager now. And I’d of him over Sam everyday of the week.

He could have quit and took the hit himself.

Why would you take him over Allardyce out of interest? Was it his relegation that impressed you? Or his losing the plot when another club came sniffing around him?

Why would anyone want Sam? Boring negative football, blatant lies at press conferences. He still count’s the West Ham win as one of his. We will never get anywhere near the top 6 under him.

While Silva is a gamble like any manager we get, I would rather take that gamble.

As for Hull and Watford. He took over Hull when they were on their knees. A bit similar to West Brom this season. And he gave Hull s fighting chance. A lot of Hull fans said it the best football they’ve ever seen.

And with in 5minutes of taking the Watford job, he’s got them playing good football and in the top 6 had we not come in for him, they would still be mid table now. And surely every Watford fan would have took that this season.

Sam Allardyce is not Everton and never will be. He's done his job, we aren't going down, now please move on with your dosh. I will forever be ashamed that such a corrupt man managed our club, but the club was in dire straits at the time and had to act.

Lot of hot air around here, I don't want Allardyce for one minute but to call him a buffoon is ridiculous, I don't know any buffoons who earn his sort of living and the calls for Silva are based on what exactly? If we finish above 10th I fear that he may just get another season if only because our board lacks judgement and leadership.

And you have just added to the hot air.

And as for Silva based on what exactly. Our owner was prepared to pay 15mil for him. And now can get him for free. I doubt he will turn that chance down.

I’m not saying silva is the right man, but if Moshiri does then he will be our manager by June.

He’s NOT a long term ambitious manager so therefore he needs binning

Any team in the top 6 would have put about 9 past stoke yesterday. We want to be there and we struggled to even get a win
That was the thing watching yesterday, once they lose a man good teams would have put them to the sword as they say.

Sam didn’t change a thing tactically. It was like he was thinking law of percentages we should create 2 or 3 good chances over the next 60mins, take one and we win 1-0.

He could have pushed Coleman right up the right side to play like a winger. And put Walcott up front. Jags, Keane, Baines and gana would have been sufficient cover. Stoke were never going to over commit once they went to 10men. But once a negative manger always a negative manger.
