No because he isnt a likeable person, its not even about the points, as we cant really complain about coming 8th after what happened before he came here, its him as a person
I don’t even think his personality is an issue. I have never, ever warmed to Wenger, but I have had nothing but admiration for his footballing principles. Similarly, I have always despised Mourhino as a person, but cannot help but admire his ability to win everywhere he goes. So Sam being unpleasant or sarcastic could be easily overlooked if he either won trophies, or played entertaining football. he has never managed either, and on that basis alone, he cannot be allowed to continue managing our club.

I want him gone not because he wont win trophies, (Pochetino has won Jack in his career but i would have him here in a heartbeat because his teams are good to watch), I want Allardyce gone because I have never seen a team of his and been entertained, as far back as when he managed Bolton. Certain ‘pundits’ have rallied around him and claimed we, the fans, are being unfair and even displaying a sense of entitlement? Qell, one thing we are most certainly entitled to for our hard earned money is entertainment, anybody who disputes that has absolutely no sense whatsoever!

Even Sam must realise it’s over.....
It is a hugely interesting question. We know that in public he will talk about a minority being against him and his plans being made for next season etc... but in private what does he think?

There is no doubt as well that managers at that level must have skin as thick as a rhino's(not Unsworth). They must also have huge self belief and self confidence to do the job they do. I think he probably accepts and realises the fans don't want him, but I think that he may believe that some good results at the start of next season will bring most to his side.
I think he has waited all his career for a job like this and won't give it up easily.

I, also think the complete silence from anyone associated with the board must be worrying for Sam, which is unfair on him.

There are contradictions all over the place, but in general it has been a mess start to finish.

Sam is only thinking about his payoff. He will be pushing for £6M, EFC will be trying to offer him about £2M and using the fans responses, performances, and his own reputation as justification. They will find a way so that Sam looks good and the money is reduced......

I'd just give him the 6 mil, and make Walsh pay, then put him in jail

Trying to remain optimistic about his departure...

Will the management (and our next, as yet unannounced, manager) prefer to keep BS until he disposes of players and thereby take any flack?

He'll no doubt be back in the PL this season at the club that presses the panic button first.
