We might have to continue this tommorow. I'll be back though. I'll see if I can get a post or two out with this 38%.
How many % now?

He had three of four injuries during his time at Everton. One during his first spell, one when he arrived again and one when he went off against City which kept him out for 6 games. He returned for the Liverpool game and started against Derby.
Moyes was impressed with his first spell, I rememeber him saying he gave us another dimension and played very well. It's all about opinions really, the same goes for me and alot of other Evertonians. He looked very good for me. In his second he was [Poor language removed].
I think you'd struggle to tell me a bad game he played in 06/07.
Laptop, yes.
Simply not true mate, he just couldnt get into the team in many games and you know it! I actually think you genuinely have convinced yourself he was injured.
Your right its all about opinions, i liked him a lot he played well in a certain system with a team in form toward the back end of the 06/07 season. He was by no means the difference or a catalist. if im honest i never saw the player many druel over here, he was always a young player with potential, you could see quality there, but it was ny no means consistent and 70% of his game was infuriating and he could make some awfull gaffs.
I think anyone who thought that in signing Manny that we would be signing anything other then raw potential is dilusional he had and i suspect still has a long way to go, to earn the esteem many hold him in here.
And to be honest I want to set the record straight, Manny never had a proper run in the side. The most consecutive starts he made in his Everton career was six games, that's all.
He played five games, missed four, started three, left to Valencia, came back, started five, missed six and then started the last six games of his Everton career. That's 19 starts and there was also around three sub appearances. The stats are there for everyone to see.
So no he didn't get a proper chance at Everton, no he didn't get a proper run in the first team side. His whole Everton career was interrupted by injuries and lack of fitness.
For ability alone this kid is immense, he just needed time and a run in the side and he was never given that at Everton. We never saw the real Manuel Fernandes. The real Manuel Fernandes is the one that got the Champions League semi final and won the League at Benfica and the lad that’s been one of Valencia’s best players this season.
As I said, name me a game in 06/07 where he was poor. He gave a good account of himself in most games. In 07/08 he was [Poor language removed], no doubt about it. I'll admit that.

La Liga side Valencia have confirmed that Manuel Fernandes has been loaned to Everton until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.
The capture will no doubt excite Everton fans after the Portuguese international midfielder enjoyed 2 successful spells on loan at the club in the last 2 seasons.
Arsehole thing to do that Reidy getting my hopes up. Got a cap with your name on it lid.
At a time when we are crying out for any signings, loan or not, why would any true blue put a wind up in like this? Obviously not a true evertonian.

I knew it was a wind up as the first thing I did after seeing the thread was look at Newsnow. Guess what - no mention of it (and I'm a Manny fan too so thanks a bunch, Reidy rcard)
