Probably the difference in expected income between another season in the PL and going down to the Championship. A yo-yo club like Burnley can probably demonstrate it quite clearly in their accounts.

I would have thought the compensation should be linked to the profit on the revenue lost not the total loss of revenue.

When the EFC Board have this nonsense overturned, they should then instruct their legal team to pursue sanctions against Richard Masters personally to have him debarred from serving in any capacity within the Premier League, just as the courts can debar company directors who fail in their fiduciary responsibilities.

That’s the thing isn’t it? When i saw it was the same (totally disgraced panel), I couldn’t believe it. And anyone who doesn’t think they’re a disgraced panel, should read the excoriating verdict of the appeals panel.
