Was going to say, we should give him back to them, to sweeten things up, but they'd probably sue us again just for that.Yes but not for the contract extensions

Rules which we agreed with and continue to do so, don't think we have ever voted against any potential rule changes have we, we are always just too nice about everything. The PL is not handing out this specific punishment, but no doubt this is a direct result of the PL's feckless rules and processes.
Yeah, I mean, you can't just pay and move on. It's 40 million.Whatever. Just pay and move on. Burnley should be only team that can come after us as they only team that would have stayed up if the points were deducted same season. Would hope that new owners accounted for this during the purchase from Moshiri.
I hope the very same compensation is applied when other teams get sued left right and centre for the same.
Forest breached in 22/23? Leicester would have stayed up on GD if 4 points were deducted from Forest that season. And we would have finished 1 place higher.
And then you have City... Chelsea..
ThisEveryone will try and sue each other now
Well done Masters you utter clown
This is correct. It was part of the terms of TFG purchasing the club. Moshiri pays for this, or rather, he is now due less money from TFGI'm pretty sure I read that when purchasing the club the new owners either had an agreement that moshiri would be liable for any costs for Everton losing this case, or money was withheld from the sale for when the case was settled. If true then it stops the club being worse off for it.
There will be only one team getting sued and then the rules will change.Everyone will try and sue each other now
Well done Masters you utter clown
New [Poor language removed] transfer window excuse just dropped
It would be impossible to apply the punishments in the same season as the breach, the accounts are only finalised at the end of the year. Half a season would need to be struck off. If that isn't even the rule now, how can it be considered like that in a court? It's the fault of the Premier League for failing to punish the PSR breach same season. If there is a case to answer, it's the Premier league's not Everton's.
