bitter-no-better
Player Valuation: £25m
So i take it they need 4 as 3 is not enough ? Cant see them even getting 2 at our place.
4-5-0 now is it?
Spurs, Liverpool, Sevilla, Bilbao, Roma and Inter are arguably better teams.
Can't argue with any of that.Great performance and result.
Howard - 6 - Did well most of the game and made a few good stops but dreadful for their goal.
Coleman - 7 - His best game in ages, deserved his much-needed goal.
Stones - 6 - Was sound but a few shaky moments and then the big error for the sending off. Not to worry.
Jagielka - 8 - Led the defence superbly - back to his best tonight.
Oviedo - 7 - Did really well shame about the injury. Great play for the third goal.
McCarthy - 8 - Superb again - his return has really given us that extra boost.
Barry - 8 - Had a really good game - pace of Europe suits him.
Mirallas - 6 - Not his best game but worked hard and looked sharp.
Barkley - 8 - Needed that performance! Great pass for the fourth and looked to run at the defence all the time.
Naismith - 8 - A quality showing after a few shaky performances recently. Great link up.
Lukaku - 9 - Get in big lad - could've had 6.
Commentator came out with a strange one at the end.
"Everton, one of the lowest ranked teams still in the competition" Eh?
Then. "They have ONLY won two on the road in Europe this season" Eh? We have only played 4, and drew the other 2.
Weirdo.
Or have I missed something?
Something my young lad just asked me "Why don't we get the credit we deserve because we have had the best away support (and again tonight the fans were superb) in Europe this season?" Easy answer was because we're not the media darlings.
This is Martinez' first crack at Europe btw.
Like a duck to water.
