Don't know what ballys on about saying baines needs to come back in oviedo's doin well and watching leighton lately was like Martinez has told him to never cross a ball at all costs

Think we could have done with Baines in the last two games to be honest but perhaps hes still getting back to his best after his injury?

Baines is still top-draw but to be honest there's no way Oviedo deserves to be dropped and the simple fact remains that we look better defensively with him there.

I'd mix it up a bit for the last few games of the season but then in pre-season I really would start to look at playing Baines in midfield and then that gives us another option heading into the next campaign.

It's unfortunate for Leighton but atm Oviedo definitely deserves his place. Against teams that sit back at home, I'd put Baines in though.

If Baines was playing like Oviedo and Oviedo was playing like Baibes had been, we wouldn't even be discussing who should be starting. I'm one of Baines' biggest fans but form is form and Oviedo deserves to start as he's currently stronger defensively.
