We've needed this area covering for ages. About time we ditched the idea of shuffling Distin over to LB and wrecking the shape of the defence. Should have been addressed as a matter of urgency before now.

It wasn't ideal but I think Distin did a pretty good job when called upon. Had a good game against an in form Valencia.

Still, the position does need extra cover. I'm not expecting to see him play much but hopefully a decent signing
