"US fans... if you fancy drowning your sorrows and discussing massive underachievement on the international stage, a couple of England fans might be out on Thursday night - we're experts."
At leats the local side backed in to the cup with a 1-1 draw in Lima and Brazil opting not to go Costa Mexico on Chile.

He still has to watch England play hopelessly crap football for the next year, and then straight into Euro 2020 qualifying after that, all with little hope of fixing what’s really wrong at the FA. We don’t have another competitive match until 2019 and literally everyone save Pulisic is getting sacked in the morning. Advantage Yanks.

Much like his last few months at Everton, the manager insisted on selecting him when better options were available.
Does he, or is he one of those self-loathing types that hates their own national side, and has to express his self-loathing outwardly on fellow fans of his own club?

Really poor that. Just as I thought, it's weak managers being intimidated by his inflated ego and presence in the dressing room. He's 38 and was finished at 32, why he's starting international matches in 2017 I'll never know.

it's my fault lads, all my teams are bottlers (at least in my lifetime) For reference, Everton (nothing since 95), Phoenix Suns for NBA (team with the highest all time winning % to have never won a title), NFL Rams one title in 99 off Kurt Warners magic, haven't made playoffs in a decade. and my university team, Virginia Tech who is now 1-31 All time vs Top 5 opponents
