Spent some time in the Red Neck Riviera around Pensacola while in the Nav, and do believe Arizona can go toe-to-toe in crazy.

Though will admit the upper half of Florida does appeal to me in an "embrace the crazy" sort of way. Find it more appealing than the "faux" crazy of the various "Keep 'City X' Weird" kind of places.

Not familiar with these except Austin, and I believe that's legit. Not been to Arizona, except briefly years ago, so maybe I'm off but I'd guess the local crazy is a sort of libertarian/cowboy crazy frequent in the West. Florida has a unique twist to crazy that even the rest of the South can't keep up with.

I had an interesting conversation with a Yank a couple of weeks back, and he said that "soccer" was very much a middle class sport - with most academies costing in excess of $3,000 to enroll.

You must all look at that and be horrified?

You've overshot by about 175 million folks.

In general it is a sport for the posh. Inner city kids play basketball and American Football.

We are only 23 years removed from basically the birth of the modern sport here. At the end of the day it's still very new here...and our best athletes don't play this sport...not yet anyway.

Meh...they've shown moments of actually playing football. A bunch of players who've never played together (8 changes)...it was never gonna be easy.
