It might stay that way in my opinion. I understand chemistry will be difficult, but the touches just look horrible. I'll just stop. It just looks to me at times that they can't even connect on what are already bad ideas sometimes. I can't remember for the life of me, but how about the guy running away from goal to track down a cleared corner kick ripping a shot off balance while he has a player facing the net, unpressured five yards away for an easy touch. Just some of the things are crazy.

It is to little, to of no value... Winner merely guarantees a playoff with the winner in 2019 for a playoff for a spot in the 2021 confederations cup. So a team could win this that won't qualify for 2018 or 2022. It's nothing but a money grab, and half the teams in it are absolutely terrible. Probably more than that.
I hope Mexico just wins both years so they lose out on their playoff money grab and put it back to every four years.
Or I hope some horrible team wins one year and the playoff and fails to qualify so the rest of the world is like what the hell is Haiti doing in the Confederation's Cup

The 2019 edition, teams will most likely care as there's really no overlap with anything else, and teams want to push for the Confed Cup. This one, at least for Mexico and the US is about evaluating fringe guys mostly and giving the regulars/Euros a rest and preseason with their clubs. The Cuco thing is strange. Curacao never qualify for the tournament so I expected them to want to try and show well.
Our B side is currently drawing against something called Martinique. This is laughable really.

He's at least athletic and now skilled enough to look like he belongs. Good sub option with the full side to stretch the field and be a nuisance to defenders.
