Seeing some of the disgusting antics of these "protesters" at Bristol such as defecating at the feet of police I would happily see us become a police state if it meant wronguns like that were given a crack and lobbed into jail.

Too many in this country with zero respect for their fellow man. We wonder why we have North Face Ninja's on every street corner with how some are dragged up.

You do realise what a police state actually entails don’t you?

It goes way and beyond arresting a few young people that don’t know better.

A police state would limit the freedoms of everybody, not just a few “protesters”.

Surely you mean you would like the police to have more powers to limit protests and come down heavy handed, rather than having an actual police state?
