What about the shops that sold sweets by weight. "quarter of chocolate nibbles/rhubarb and custard/Choc Crumble please. I know there's some niche shops knocking about now, but the prices are shocking. You could go in with your measly pocket money back in the day, come out with a huge bag of sweets and still have a bit to spend.
Oh, and the shops that used to slice the cooked meat, and sell cream cakes and what not.

I miss them so much
I've thought this for years then went to a wedding in Glasgow two years ago and popped out to a shop for a lighter or something and there they were, just a full box of them nonchalantly sitting there.
I bought as many packs as I could carry and took them back to the wedding only to be unfairly accused of being stoned and ruining my sister's day.
