Delph for Davies I can live with reckon he and Gomes work well. Coleman back in would be ridiculous though.
Not a fan of Davies myself but his performance last time out was better than anything Delph has shown so far so has to keep his place. If silva makes a single change that's not enforced through injury he should be sacked on the spot

-----------------------Pickford-----------------------
Sidibe----- Keane -------- Holgate------ Digne
-----------------------Gomes------------------------
Richarlison----Davies-----Iwobi-------Bernard
-------------Dominic Calvert Lewin--------------

Away from home:
- Gomes should play a bit deeper.
- Richarlison back on the wing to provide defensive support.
- DCL to hold up possession and pull the Brighton CBs forward, providing time to get Davies & Iwobi forward in transition so that they may then play one touch stuff to Richarlison and Bernard making runs at and then off the shoulder of their corresponding left and right backs.

Defensively, the strategy should be to prevent Connolly and Maupay finding space inside. We should be pressing strong in the middle of the pitch forcing them to go out wide. The match will likely pivot on Davies & Gomes ability to adjust positionally when Brighton attack on the counter; as well as, Richarlison & Bernard's efforts in tracking back and avoiding needless turnovers when playing in transition.
Find a bin and climb right in

Why would you do any of that?

Because if we don't start playing kean regularly to give him a chance he will want out next summer and his confidence will be shot. Imagine being a striker from juve, sitting on Evertons bench and seeing no goals, seeing us in and around relegation zone, and still not get regular game time.....

- A win today takes us top half
- We’ve just had our best performance of the season
- Kean is 9 games into his first season in England.

Log off.

Your second point is not terrible. Rich may be a better striker than dcl, tosun and kean, but hard for kean to be worse than dcl or tosun even with just arriving in the prem.

If we hadn't spent 25 million on Kean nobody would be batting an eyelid that a 19-year-old kid hadn't scored or cemented his place in the team yet.

Forget the price tag, Kean didn't choose it, it does nobody any favours.

True, but I would hope that our scouts and club would not be wasting that money on a striker who is struggling to replace the likes of dcl and tosun.. But it is early.l days, so hopefully I'm wrong.
