I have a job interview! Same pay band as I'm on now but supervisor. Basically fancy team leader title but same hospital and wouldn't need to go near my old department.

Interview in just under 3 weeks so going to give it a real go.

Good luck mate. I work in public sector in a similar level position and even though I've had ny share of lows and near teared my own hair out sometimes at the goings on and things I've had to deal with, its been a great self-development and character building thing to do with lots of (non-financial) rewards and satisfaction with the people interactions and I'm sure you'll do well if you get it.
