...so? We have players to sign and get shut of before then. That'll tell me more about the intent of those two than getting a repeat performance of the words they uttered last week.

Dave, you and I don't often agree, but I do get what you're saying here in that actions speak louder than words

Only caveat here is that, I don't know about you, but I don't think I've ever felt more disengaged from Everton than I felt last season. I know other blues who felt the same and sometimes it was bordering on apathy - I don't want to criticise anything that might start to rebuild the connection between fans and club. As long as this isn't a regular occurrence, I think we can cut them a bit of slack on this occasion. After this though, I think we can agree that we will want to see tangible progress, rather than rhetoric

I'm delighted he's in and it's all over with. And I believe he's the right choice for us.

That's all I'm concerned with. He's in so now just let him act. I've heard already what he and the other feller have had to say. I'm not hard of learning so I dont need to hear their plans again.
Fine. Don’t listen to it then. Some people are interested in hearing it.

Can’t wait for Allardyce and Jim White to burst in off their faces, get in front of the camera and beg Moshiri to give them their job/“special” relationship back.

I want them to say half of the squad are crap and will be replaced by real footballers. Henceforthwith we will be swashbuckling in attack but will also have a defensive line stronger than steel. Expect many league titles to come...then I want them to burst out in evil laughter as they say we will conquer the world.

Just wait for it,

"We are taking the club in a new direction, more prudent with our signings whilst still signing quality, it's all about value for money and building a youthful team. Welcome our new signing...£50m 29 yr old Marko Arnautovic clap clap clap."

Everton that

You reboot Everton by getting on the pitch and performing with fine football and getting results, not by telling everyone we'll be sound again now.

You're right... we should organise a televised match instead of a presser
