I want a poll, with honest answers only, as to how many people in here have watched him play. And not just a 30 second highlight reel, actually watched him play. I haven't and I bet 99% of you haven't either.

Very little, I'm just going off what he's done against his peers...just like I do with first-teamers. Hence why I'll never be on the Beto train, despite seeing more than plenty of him.

The academy is a trillion miles from the PL. Great if anyone makes it but do not assume that talent has a hope of translating at this stage.

…..as I said in the other thread, he’s not yet been called up for NI U21s team, a country not blessed with a rich pool of talent. Wouldn’t be surprised if club and country are cohesively managing him.

Loved his 2nd goal last night, he headed it rather than just winning the header, you can see his eyes following the ball into the net after he meets it. Remember DCL having a similar chance at Hull some years ago, his concentration was on winning the ball, his eyes are closed and he missed the target.

It’s the natural goalscorer.

He weighs about two stone but I’d maybe include him in the squad on the bench.

He played 120 mins last night , scored two cracking goals, spent a lot of time furthest forward running onto or looking for through balls. He was still going strong in extra time getting into the right place to score the winner. Reckon he deserves a rest this weekend .
