I think GGG has a bit more to him than some seem to be giving credit for. He is more than just a heavy handed hitter, he has fought decent 'boxers' before who will have had a game plan to 'box' and that hasn't worked out for any of them. I do think Brook is a better 'boxer' than any of his previous opponents so it will be interesting. Sadly I think GGG will eventuallyt wear him down and I think a knockout maybe as late as round 10.

For me Brook was slightly fortunate to get the decision against Porter. It was a close fight and it could have gone either way. GGG is a significant step up from this. I give him credit for taking the fight and I'm sure the pay day will be part of the decision to take the fight. Brook can afford to lose this fight and still have his reputation relatively intact. It would effect his standing in the Welterweight division where he could step back down and still be in the mix for the likes of Thurman, Garcia or if Khan if Khan is willing (think Khan is avoiding Brook because a defeat in that fight would permanently deminish his reputation).

He scraped a win v a very decent welter in porter . He'll need a lot more than that v golovkin .

I like brook a lot. But this fight is no more than a pay day to keep him relevant that could take years off his career .

If brook hadn't took this fight it would of been nearly 2 1/2 Years since he beat porter . That's not acceptable .

It's down to matchroom not paying the dough to get the fights over here, they couldn't even afford to bring bam bam Rios over lol . Also the high risk low reward but Thurman off and Garcia , and Bradley . Then him having time off due to the stabbing in Tenerife to recover. Brook should of went the selby and degale route. And joined haymon and PBC.
