Boxing

Not the best resume but I think he got about £12m from the Super Series. Not bad for 3 fights against Skoglund, a kickboxer and an injured Groves

It wasn't sold out but no idea how well tickets was going. Loads of empty seats for Ball v Figueroa and that was a better card.
Good on him.

Typically Liverpool shows don’t sell very well. Always seems to be tickets available on the day of a card. Unless it’s a derby fight, always seem to struggle to sell out.

Shalom getting a lot of heat. Bakole bashing him with that statement and rimmer's rimmer Spencer Brown threatening to slap him
He doesn’t seem liked in the boxing community and the high ups don’t seem to like him. Dull as dish water is Shalom but good on him for standing up for himself. He just seems to be bullied a lot.

This boxing on Netflix is a bit strange, very USA they way they are broadcasting it
Fraser Clarke just got beat majority decision.
Was a decent fight.
Good fight that one.

Not been impressed by any Netflix boxing event or wwe event they’ve done. Like you said, feels overly American and they are so annoying.

Thought Haye was in the jungle?

TKV would have been stopped within a minute or two anyway there.

The Saudis must be losing an absolute fortune on this event. Benn getting 15m for the co main fighting someone who is injured. Fury will be earning a fortune and they're selling tickets for £45.

Selling tickets for £15 this morning.

I don’t think the Saudis have made much money from British boxing with the reported fees they are paying fighters. To be fair, they’ve got trillions upon trillions so £150m to them is nothing.

Could've been a good day/night in London, Brentford then onto this
If my eldest lad didn’t have a big rugby final tomorrow was gonna buy a ticket this morning and drive down. Someone I know got a ticket for £10. They was throwing them away last night and this morning.

What are these strange stage walks before jumping in the ring boxers are doing nowadays for big fights? I swear they never used to do that as part of the walkout....is it the boxing equivalent of when the handlers walk the greyhounds past the grandstand at the dog track so the punters know which one to back just before the race?
