Honestly I think this just proves we haven't moved on that much, you can't concede 2 goals that easily, when winning 2-0. Honestly we nearly effed up last week as well, why do Everton never make it easy. It will be a miracle if we don't lose.

I don’t think shutting up shop means relying on your defenders; we could have brought on fresh legs and worked on retaining/passing the ball well rather than sitting deep.

Anyway, happy to agree to disagree with anyone who is that was inclined. Regardless of our approach, we’ve Evertoned the s*** out of this and now I want to drink to dull the pain.

Apologies - To clarify what I meant by “shut up shop” I was trying to say I didn’t mean by surrendering possession and defending deep, but by keeping possession and just not being as adventurous/leaving as much space when we attack.
