More top-drawer writing Chico, really appreciate the effort you make on these pieces.

Not sure I want to see Mirallas starting so soon after returning from injury;

Don't see the point in dropping Jelavic if we just continue playing the same formation with Neville in CM and Felli as ACM.

What I hope DM will do:

- Neville at RB, unless either Hibbo or Coleman are fit.
- Jags, Distin, Baines make up the rest of the back four.
- Switch Pienaar to RM ( predicting Bolton will have noted how Southampton shut down the Baines/Pienaar combo - we need a plan b )
- Hitz and Felli as orthodox CMs
- Oviedo starts at LM
- Jelavic and Anichebe as a front pair.

Rest Osman. Give Jelavic better service and closer support. Utilise Oviedo's pace. Allow Felli to dominate midfield. Get the early lead. Give Hitz, Oviedo and Anichebe the full 90 mins. Get Duffy, Velios and Mirallas on for 30 mins each if possible, ideally for Distin, Baines (Oviedo drops back to LB, Mirallas to LM) and whoever tires first out of the front two.

Play like they want to win the cup.

Absolutely this. If we roll over I will fume like I've never fumed before. The League Cup final shows that anyone still in this competition can win it.

'You see, playing Bolton is like having a dump. It’s obligatory and something which invariably you can’t put off despite you sometimes wanting to swerve it. It’s occasionally a pain in the arse and it f*cking stinks. Bolton is a dump. Kids in proper jarg polyester trackies running about with minty hair and personalities made of cardboard. Yet the locals try to mock scousers despite us being three thousand years ahead of them in the evolutionary scale of humankind. Your clothes stink of stale crisps you bad meffs, pipe the [Poor language removed] down and give your kids a wash. And swerve the obsession over the 1998 relegation where “it should have been the scousersâ€￾. We’re Everton, you’re Bolton and sometimes things are as simple as that you bells.'

Majestic. So after a slight Pienaaresque dip in form last week you are back to your rampant best this time round. Top preview Sir Azul.

Hope you're right about Anichebe starting ahead of Jela. Could be just the time to do it and he could come on to prove a point if need be. As you say, deez are sh1te so we should smash them.

But this week's events in the League Cup will have given the lower league teams a lot of heart so we probably won't. And it'll be back to Goody for a replay.

1-1.

Good preview here Chico, never heard anyone's personality described as cardboard before, but I kind of get where you are going with it.

We owe these a doing at the Reebok. 2-0 Everton and Big Vic to punch the ballboy in the c*ck for looking at him funny. Rightly so too...

"It doesn’t get more glamorous than an away tie in the cup to Bolton. And by glamorous I mean bad tramps arse.. .playing Bolton is like having a dump. It’s obligatory and something which invariably you can’t put off despite you sometimes wanting to swerve it. It’s occasionally a pain in the arse and it f*cking stinks."

 This is a master at work here.

I think he'll leave Mirallas on the bench to start but might still shake it up a bit:

Howard
Neville Jags Distin Baines
Pienaar Osman Fellaini Oviedo
Anichebe
Jelavic

Tickets all sold out before I could get one but these are teams who beat decent ones like us!
I suggest everyone whos going to make a lot of noise all game even if were struggling! Like Sunderland!

We have the whole of that goal! COYB!

Is Heitinga fit again? Could be:

__________Howard
Jagielka Heitinga Distin Baines
_______Neville Osman
___Naismith Fellaini Pienaar
__________Jelavic

Otherwise Neville at rightback and Hitzelsperger in midfield. Moyes seems to not like playing Vic as a wideman in a three and it could be risky asking Mirallas to start games at the moment. We should have options on the bench though with Kev, Oviedo, Vellios and Gueye.
