He should be training with the first team, if we cant shift him then we should at least try and see if we can get some use out of him in his final year. If ancelotti doesn't think he's good enough then fine, he wont play and hopefully someone comes in for him. But we have to be in a position that we're not just left with someone on 80k a week doing absolutely nothing.
I think we should be letting those with 1 year left go for next to nothing. The hits on our accounts wil be far lower for those with only a year left. They contribute nothing to the squad. They will never start matches. Yet those sort of players always get minutes in preseason when other young players should be getting opportunities.
This is the third summer Bolasie, Sandro, Besic etc have been surplus.
The root cause is the daft contracts they were given, but there comes a point where they have to be moved on. How do we ever improve until all these players are moved on? That should be priority number 1 for Brands this summer.

Tim, I have said this before how do you move players on if they will not go and a club will not come in for them?
Literally every summer brands has been here we've been told the club are trying to shift these players, what are we meant to do when they go out on loan and fail? No ones going to pay their wages so they're not going anywhere, that's the reality of the situation we've been in. Cant just draw up a dream board and manifest a buyer for them.

Find them loans till the end of contracts and get their wages covered as much as possible. Do whatever it takes to move them on. Cant improve until we have a clear out.
If they absolutely refuse to go then they train with youth team until the end of their contracts. They shouldn't be involved in the first team.
