Blues without Felli.......

I can see moyes actually doing what the masses want for a change and putting Barkley in. There are 2 main reasons for this. 1 without the belgians Peinaar and Baines are our best attacking outlet. He won't risk splitting them up away from home which rules out Oviedo. 2. He won't split osman and gibson up from the middle as there partnership is keeping us ticking over. Therefore ossie won't be pushed forward. So unless he plays the german or oviedo completley out of position Barkley will be his only option. And btw naismith is a guaranteed starter so anyone suggesting formations without him are deluding themselves!

Fully expect

-----------------Howard

Coleman---Jagielka----Distin---Baines

Naismith---Gibson---Hitzlsperger---Pienaar

---------------Osman

---------------Jelavic

i think heitinga will be in for felli but i dont mean he play his role ....naismith will be the furthest forward of the 5 midfielders we will play

id like to see barkley / ovideo ahead of both heitinga / naismith

We need Victor back!

Ovieado on the left, Pienaar on the right, Naismith and Jelly up top.

Thats my guess what will happen rather than what I'd choose
this - the likely scenario with Vellios on for Naismith when he gets knackered (70 mins)

Naismith is the new Pip!!!!

Naismith is ****e as a winger, if he is played at least play him behind Jelavic. I want Barkley, Oviedo and Vellios to get a chance in the absence of Mirallas and Fellaini. Moyes is not adventurous enough to try this however.

THIS ALL DAY LONG. Im pretty sure some mutual rimming occurs at half time, which would also explain our 2nd half performances.

Phil Neville is in contention to return to Everton's starting line-up this weekend three weeks ahead of schedule following a knee operation.

The Toffees captain underwent surgery to clean up his knee 33 days ago and it was initially feared he would be out for eight weeks.

However, his rehabilitation has gone so well that manager David Moyes is considering starting him against West Ham on Saturday. Neville's return would offset the loss of the suspended Marouane Fellaini.

Zero chance Barkley will play a deeper role in the Premier League, none at all. If Moyes didnt, id 100% agree with him.

Right. He's not a holding player, really, he's an attacker. I'd like him on the right with Seamus, which should work well, I think. I'd play Osman back with Gibbo, and Naismith up behind Jeli. If nothing else, it allows attacks down both flanks, a lot of attention still to be paid to Osman, and Jeli gets to team up with his BFF.

Neville riding to our rescue without Fellaini it seems :-(

I need to start putting good money on our 1-1s away from home. Was confident of a win on Saturday when I was feeling positive about what team he might put out....
