i dont think i could do Europe on a coach. sounds like hell to me.

I look back with rose-tinted specs now, but at the time it wasn't great, mainly due to being ill on the ferry from Dover to Calais (I'm rubbish on boats). The people on Hans coach were great though, we had a great laugh driving through France and Belguim to get into Germany. Coming back we left straight after the Nuremberg game, I fell asleep on the coach, woke up about 6am in the morning, the coach had stopped - it had broken down in the snow somewhere in Belgium! Wasn't that bad, they managed to fix it and we were off again soon enough. Got back to Lime Street about 10pm on the Friday night. Quite the adventure.

Sorry my mistake, yeah, the Friday morning I meant. Gone back and edited it now.

I remember for the Nuremberg game, it was something like £100 return on the coach, which was a pretty good deal, compared to £300/£400 for flights etc. I was a skint student at the time, so funds were short.

I went on a mad trip to Nuremberg, drove to stanstead....flight to altenburg...transfer to Leipzig and train to Nuremberg came to about £150 pp iirc. Was a great trip.

Hans tours are doing coaches for all 3 matches, i dunno if i could coach it to Austria, but the flights seem expensive tho.

What's it usually like getting tickets for friendlies in the north west?can you pay on the door or does it normally sell out the 'away end'? Will probably go to Blackburn as its just a short train journey from Manchester

When we had blackpool in 2009 it sold out within days and fans without a ticket were advised not to go.
Accrington should be cheap, if its £15 for adults on a normal matchday, then this should be cheap. And its mostly standing

Ive got both local games booked off from work. i just hope i get a ticket, they are 2 grounds ive never been.
