Never before have I wanted a player to do well so much.

With Saha I almost enjoy the fact he's gash and lazy as it gives me someone to blame everything on.

With Bily I really, really wish he was boss because I met him on Allerton Road once and he seemed like a genuinely sound fella who wasn't completely alien to the rest of us humans.

Bye Bily lid. I'm sorry you were complete gash. Enjoy the filthy Russian birds that you always see in the 'Euro' section of Pornhub.
 
He was always one of my favorite players despite the fact that it didn't work out too well for him here. Really nice guy with a great attitude. I hope he does really well at Spartak.
 
I loved him, I just can't figure out why though. Something inside me just wanted him to come good but I think it is better if he goes because it really was not happening. Strange that he is going to another club in Moscow, I wonder how his other teams fans will feel about it.
 
Acted with dignity throughout his time here, and just got on with trying to prove himself.
He will have a strong affinity with us for certain as he has spent a period of his life in his formative years over here.
 
Confidence player who should have started every week. You mess players like that around, in and out of the team, their confidence drops and they don't perform to their ability. If he'd had a good run, and moyes had invested his faith in him long term, he would have been epic.

Being dipped in and out like he was meant he was being carried in the end..unfortunately we can't afford to carry anyone, and this is one instance where the move probably suits him and us.

Sorry for him though, he could be a star at the Euro's, especially as their group is former eastern europe countries and greece. they could smash them....
 
Blues astound me, so his agent or someone at EFC HQ have thrown together a nicely worded thanks and goodbye. The abuse some players have had that provided much much more and left without so much as a snide acknowledgement. He should have done more, and feeling sorry for himself now its all over is no good either. Hope he gets the winner vs France.

Fail to see what he did wrong tbh, played wherever he was asked, got on with trying to get into the team despite getting dropped after scoring crackers, yes he was in terrible form this season but I see that as people knocking his confidence that caused it. Never a snide comment to the Russian media that made it's way back here and denied as 'lost in translation.'

He wants to make the team for the euro's and if he aint playing then that aint gonna happen, good luck Bily lad and I look forward to you returning to Merseyside to score the winner at klanfield in the inter-toto cup and lifting the shirt to show an Everton/ anti r.s. themed t-shirt.
 
What can you say except he was a genuine classy guy in a sport largely filled with gobs*ites?

Best of luck to him and hope he does well with Russia in the Euros.
