I'd like to think that the best thing for any footballer, or actually any young person even without a public profile, to just consciously stay the f away from social media.
So many kids and young adults absolutely messed up and depressed from it all, and that's without them being the target of the abuse.
Bilic is right - it's not a uniquely Everton problem, though I don't think he was implying that at all
I’d recommend anyone to participate in social media , with the right attitude and mentality it can be a lot of fun. (Though it’s mostly boring) People the wrong attitude and mentality should definitely stay away though. But then we’d have no one to laugh at when they get angry or start cryarseing or taking to heart things other people post.
