Social media in more recent times means that abuse can be more personal, practically constant and very, very public.

And easily ignored.

If you want to be thought of as a supporter you support, you don't boo.

If you want to show the world that your club is a crutch for all the failings and frustrations in your own life then boo away. Just go and be a fan of the rs and do it.

Well , we could always sit there politely applauding good play from whichever side plays it.
But it’s football and it’s always been a raucous highly emotive environment, that’s one of its attractions, you can’t have the ying without the Yang.
