Can see Jonathan de Guzman coming in - along with someone like Joe Ledley that'll add up to about 15m or so (including the loan fees for Castillo & Obinna & the 2m quoted for Zayatte), which is about what I reckon's in the kitty.

Altogether : Jacobsen, Castillo, Obinna, Zayatte, Ledley & de Guzman plus Rodwell & Baxter that genuinely are like new signings (none of this "vdM or a fit Cahill's like a new signing" crap) and we're looking ok.

Maybe some randomly unheard of backup keeper again like Wessels.

Its not right though is it yes we will all be there like always but we do deserve better.its not just the lack of a star signing its the amateurish way we have gone about it ,not checking if in fact the club were willing to do a loan deal, going for a guy who states he prefers the shyte why not find these things out before making it public?

Id be happy with.....

................USTARI................
ALVES...GARAY...BRENO...LAMB
..............MOUTINHO.............
MESSI...................NAKAMURA
...............RIQUELME..............
....SAVIET................VILLA.....

oh my god I need to get away from that game....

I voted "no."

I'd love for there to be one but I'm not seeing it. Not now.

Can just imagine Bill and Davey sitting next to the fax machine watching a piece of paper get churned out at 1mm per minute until it says, "Sporting CP will accept the offer of..."

With all these loan signings and general cheap arse deals, you have to be hoping that we have a cheeky big one lined up. If we dont then I'll believe what you people say - about being skint.

Moutinho nailed on.

As highlighted by the two we have signed, appears nobody but Moyes and Kenwright know who we are going to sign not even the papers which is a good thing.

Looks like all the Reira talk and the way M'Bia is going is all just agents and other clubs talk to either get in the shop window or force the price up, we as always are the guinea pig being used.

So I'm gonig to ignore who the papers have said our last two signings will be:

Robinho and Kaka out from under Chelski's nose, no source just my dart board and a list of players.

From what I gather NO big signings on permanent deals coming in. [Poor language removed] happens.

I think it's doubtful, but I now have a feeling Moutihno will sign.

Damn you moyes for playing with my feelings!!

And what do you gather? Tea leaves?

No disrespect but without mentioning sources, I place as much faith in comments on here as I would on a clairvoyant.

Going for loan deals sends out the wrong message to potential big signings. Nobody looks for as many loan deals as we do. It might look to them like we dont have much money and thats what makes them um and ar. Personally I think some players are coming in. Maybe not anyone thats already been mentioned. Kenwright will know how the fans are feeling and he knows if our season goes tits up he'll be the one with his name on the banners. What I dont understand is why he came on telly weeks ago and said there'll be signings in the week. What week did he mean ? Why say something like that and not be 100% sure. We've left it late before and theres still time but for fuxake why dont they tell us fans whats going on after all we put our hard earned into the club and we go through thick and thin with them home and away. Time to act Kenwright the fans are restless.
