You want everything to look bleak mate because you want the manager gone. I understand where you're coming from.

There's almost nothing you wont use to try and help achieve the feel bad factor.

No mate I just want Everton to improve. Watching turgid performances after a season of turgid performances then deluding myself into thinking everything is ok is not really my bag. Some people like it though.

No davek it's the reality of the situation. We don't create any chances. Even the Everton TV commentators were commenting on it and they're the most positive bias people you can get.

Why are people belittling attempts from a corner? We have been crap at corners for years and would love to see us getting more efforts in from set pieces.

You the censor police or something? Why don't you let people actually air an opinion on here without calling them something offensive? Your wannabe mod behaviour is the only thing making anyone look like a tit.
Don't bite. There's those on here who are more interested in antagonising others than voicing their real opinions. Just smile and wink.

It's too early to start this anti-Martinez stuff lads. At least wait until we lose a couple of games.

Pre-season went well (down to Martinez and the players training like pros); now we need players in (down to the fraud chairman to sort out).

Course it is mate. Liverpool would have buried a team like Villarreal.

*sigh*
This is the same liverpool who are currently drawing with Swindon and have drawn against the mighty brisbane lions and a malaysia 11 this pre season.

I think we have made a bit of a mess of the scheduling and it's not helped by the growing injuries. However villareal are a very good team and we shouldn't lose site of that.

How long do we allow this to carry on?

When do we hit breaking point

Today surely pushed that point closer

Id love for Rom to get a bit of presence about him like Dunc has, even as a middle aged man he looked head and shoulders physically above everyone on that pitch

For most of the first half I thought we were excellent, knocking the ball round really well, quick, accurate passing etc. The problem was the lack of a striker who can hold it up and finish moves off. Lukaku would have made a big difference today, he's not the finished article but compared to Kone .....
Would have loved to see Rooney and Lukaku up front together...

So spending £15million+ on a bench warmer? Jordan Rhodes is touted at that price. Its nuts.

If we get someone for a decent price, I agree. But I don't see why we should be paying high for a back-up striker.
We need to sign someone. We don't need to buy an English player. I'm sure there's value in the marketplace abroad.
