Don't hate Rooney at all. I just don't like this scenario.

It's definitely weird, shows Rooney has grown up a bit though, no? Takes balls to do what he is doing.

One thing I don't get at all about the way we play is that we apply absolutely no pressure when the other team has the ball.

Barcelona are the best passing side ever, obviously. Yet, when they don't have the ball, all 11 of their players will sprint full speed at you, chasing you back to your own goal until you get it back.

Why aren't we doing this?

He gets loads. Thing with him is you can't just ignore the fact he picked that ball up and charged with it and turned attack into defence in two seconds.

He's Jekyll and Hyde at the moment; people criticise the problems he has but the right-minded people who do also recognise that there's every chance he'll iron them out and the raw talent comes to the fore over the next year or two.

Exactly. I don't think any player suddenly plays like Pirlo at his age. He's gotta play and keep trying.
