Think he’s often been very poor when coming off the bench though.I'd say beto as back up is acceptable, target other areas with the funds
Keep him as second striker next season.….he’s so frustrating, I just can’t help thinking how much better we’d be with a truly effective no9. Saying that, it’s hard not to like the lads attitude and he’s getting his goals at the moment.

He had a good game - why was he subbed?Only two behind Dominic Calvert Lewandowski @Joey66

He's had a great season, but:….he’s so frustrating, I just can’t help thinking how much better we’d be with a truly effective no9. Saying that, it’s hard not to like the lads attitude and he’s getting his goals at the moment.
He looked OK to meKnackered !
ThiagoHe's had a great season, but:
1. He's scored 7 penalties
2. The second goal today he had absolutely no idea about
Yes you still need to convert penalties, but if you remove those 8 goals you're looking at the following:
Thiago, 2748 minutes, 13 open play goals: 1 goal every 211 minutes.
Beto, 1280 minutes, 7 open play goals: 1 goal every 182 minutes
Verdict: Beto is better.
Obviously I'd trade Beto for Thiago in a heartbeat, but just some interesting stats I thought.
