Worked hard again and some okay moments but you're still just happy if he can retain possession. We're crying out for a striker that puts the opposition on the back foot. Neither Beto or Barry are that player.

That underlines how completely unfit for Everton Beto and Barry are: the movement is clueless and his anticipation zero.

2-0 up showed it to devastating effect for me: Burnley are there to be destroyed but the players in MF are having to do little triangles and retain the ball instead of making a forward pass with Burnley in disarray.

We need to get shut of him and Barry this summer. We cant progress with either.

We definitely need a better striker. I'd sell Beto but keep Barry though as hopefully he will continue to progress.

Beto really put himself about and ran himself into the ground this evening, just a pity we couldn't get a few decent crosses/balls into him.

Beto definitely doesn't think quickly enough. We could have peak Kyle Walker down one flank and Ashley Cole down the other and Beto would still be making clueless runs and / or letting the ball bounce off his head and over.

Nope, 2 new full backs and 2 new front men required.

They said we had to leave Goodison as the new stadium was going to be a game changer. Well that game better be changing starting from this summer and we better be signing quality and quantity.

We know his limits, he couldn't have done more for team..

We play with more directness and the strikers will look better. It is not shocking at all that Beto had two of his best games of the season in a row.

He is limited but he's trying and the improvement is starting to show. If we are stuck with him next season I am certain he will be an improved version. I would prefer to buy that but there aren't any guarantees!!
