seamus had a pretty bad infection from a blister and supposedly nearly lost his foot/leg

shane duffy had a flesh eating bacteria

vaughan severed his artery on the pitch kicking another players studs

ndiaye tore his mcl kicking the turf

Duffy lacerated his liver or something on international duty for Ireland aswel. Had to have emergency life saving surgery from what I can remember

That Danny Welbeck goal yesterday is the sign of a great finisher - Beto will always have one on ones with his sheer pace & handwork rate - never a back to goal player - DM has realised Beto's strengths the ball over the top - plus he rattles defences - he has to work on goals like Welbecks goal yesterday it was sublime -

Maybe Keepers are working him out - he has to think things through as he did everything correct on his one on ones control etc maybe the keeper just got lucky ?

I was confident he would have scored at least two after his past form ... I could not fault his performance or his workrate ....

I think the two efforts ( shots ) he had were unlucky not to score one of them.

He aims close to the keeper ( as you should) as that’s the last spot that gets covered… he hit the target and was actually trying to finish with intent , rather than DCL just kicking it toward goal as he has no idea how to finish.

The second he tried to lift it hoping the keeper would drop.

Both different efforts and he tried to go round the keeper the other time … it shows he has composure and actually thinks when finishing .

Just unlucky that none came off imo

Remeber Duffy potentially dying if the physio wasn’t so insistent and having attention to detail that he went to hospital.

His dad used to post on here too I think

Forgot Seamus being told he might have to have his toe amputated….

Bolasie doing his MCL and the physio and him both thinking he’s ok AFTER inspecting the wrong knee
Didn’t we have two player collide and injury eachother too?
Dunc only player to go to jail for an onfeild offence

Does winning that come with a total drop off in form or a series injury, or is that just the manager of the month?
