Just to summarise :

She was old enough to know right from wrong.

She was capable of raising the funds needed to leave the country and fly to Syria.

She joined a terrorist organisation that has declared war on the West, that wants to blow us all back into Medieval times and all that goes with it.

She gave birth to three children to a Jihadi, two of which died.

One of the girls who went out there with her is dead too.

She appears neither arsed about her dead kids or dead mate.

For the past three / four years she has been happily living with her new ISIS family, as they continued to rape, torture, behead and murder the non believers.

Things start going tits up for ISIS, she sees the writing on the wall and decides it is time to get out.

She wants to come back, but shows no remorse, no contrition and states that she is" willing to change " ( we can thank her later )

I would say, when you put that all together she is a bit more than a teenager who`s been lead astray.

I was sent to jail. It got out on appeal. Basically the probation service spent years with me, they knew my upbringing and that I was a victim of circumstance, hence my second chance belief.
I think she also should be given an opportunity to start again.

But there is a difference though. Notwithstanding you were a bad lad, and we do have a few, you do not have the muderous intentions to indiscriminately inflict death upon great numbers of innocents at concerts. She has even attempted to explain it away. These people have a totally different mentality and being seen to be soft on them only encourages them to be ever more extreme.......if one more theft takes place, then tough, if one more bomb goes off it’s a bit more than tough......

Yeh, granted my situation was very different from hers and I’m am guilty of diluting what she has done BUT as of yet, her only crime was joining a terrorist organisation. There are many former members of the IRA who walk the streets without issue. It feels like everyone’s hatred of isis has been put on her shoulders.

I was thinking the very same thing last night.

In one of my previous jobs, I used to support parents who had lost their children, from babies to young adults.

It changed all of their lives in and ruined many them.

Also one of the girls who went out there with her is dead, I am presuming killed by a third party due to her ISIS membership.

Yet no mention of her either ???

Mate, that won’t fit in with his narrative. Make stuff up about them eating children and blowing up unicorns and he’ll be all over it.

Well they did commit the 7/7 bombings.

My point was more they didn't crap where they ate.

In her first interview with the journalist, she was asked if she had any regrets. Her answer was deserting ISIS so she could look after her "unborn" child.

In the interviews she has given hardly anything is mentioned about the 2 dead babies. Any normal decent human being would be grief stricken but I don't see any at all. Her disregard for human life is horrifying

You're not suggesting a member of isis could possibly tell lies are you mate. It just seems a bit odd to me that 2 dead babies are virtually dismissed as almost insignificant in the whole debate

That is without even taking into consideration the cost to the British tax payer too.

I am pretty sure al - Assad would want something in return, as she would be a very convenient bargaining chip.

Plus, the British government do not want her back either.

We already monitor loads of known terrorists (not just their wives).
She comes home, tried, jailed, released in tag and monitored. Probably similar to those from Guantanamo.
Also the IRA, former terrorists who walk amongst us. How do we manage them? Actual convicted terrorists.

I don’t have the answers, I’m not paid to do so I have just stated that she is a brit and therefore legally allowed back.

Why don't you volunteer to go and get her and bring her back? Give her that second chance you want to provide her?
