Did you read the post I quoted? He mentioned many people over here "feeling" the same as her, so I responded to that. How does that make no sense?
Because she hasn’t been found guilty of anything yet

She certainly would be, I am very much an advocate of her not being allowed back as, since I recently found out from a cleverer man than me, the law can be interpreted either way, I am in favor of her sleeping in the bed she made.So is she not a prisoner of war if she comes back to the UK?

If she does return though, she genuinely needs to be tried as a traitor because she is.
Bringing her back and monitoring her after a desensitizing process as is being talked about in the media about would be nothing short of mental.
Are you suggesting she didn't go over to Isis?Because she hasn’t been found guilty of anything yet

Is this a crime that she can be convicted of under UK law?Are you suggesting she didn't go over to Isis?

No, you can view it however you want. If you want to strip a British citizen of her citizenship, leave her stateless, or condemn her to death, it needs to be via due process. It is not a hard concept to grasp.
She thought she was going on a club 18-30 holiday all inclusive to SyriaYeah, how petty and bitter it is for people to be disgusted at the thought of some selfish woman who hates/hated our country, went off to join a murderous terrorist organisation, contributed to the deaths of 2 innocent young children, and now wants to come back. What a terrible conclusion for those of us who have that view.
Instead, we should get the open top bus parade ready...
Do you realise that she didn't leave the country to go on holiday so it's a bit different to just going abroad, making a minor mistake and then returning? Are you aware of what ISIS actually do or the crimes they commit?
Would you be full of the nonsense about open top bus parades to families of victims who have been executed by ISIS. Or executed by her murderous husband?
its clear you aren’t the only one in this threadI hate our country.
Having firmly established my lack of lawyer credentials I would say I have found myself on shakey ground, but I suspect that heading off to join an enemy of your country has some legal ramifications surely?
Interesting that the new Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act makes a specific law against traveling to designated areas which would be applicable in future instances, but cannot be retrospectively applied.
I'd also note the UK widened the counter terrorism strategy Prevent’s remit to cover the rehabilitation and disengagement of those already involved in terrorism, which would apply in this instance.
I think it will be interesting to see what happens all round tbh, there are around 150 women due to be coming back and a lot more men, I think I read about another 500 due to return from Isis. She may end up applying for Dutch citizenship as that is where her husband is from. Would be interesting to see how that pans out if it happens.
This made me actually laugh out loud.I take that bit of my argument back then.
How did we go from shooting traitors on sight to having no law against them at all?
We have laws on the appropriate depth a pothole can reach dependent on the classification of road before it requires maintenance, and the time lapse allowed before reaching this level, to when the hole gets fixed (I work in highways by the way), but nothing about p***ing off to a terrorist organisation and operating against your own country?
I'm even more convinced that we need to invoke the interpretation of the law whereby she doesn't return now. If she does there seems like there are no ramifications at all.
