I totally believe in a multi-cultural Britain, with complete religious freedom for all. She doesn't by the way.

I would not besmirch the UK Muslim population, by including this woman as a member.

Islam is not the problem, it is the distorted, violent, and genocidal variant that this women supports.
Correct, the problem is, we cannot unilaterally decide when and who our laws should apply to, regardless of how unpalatable it may be.

That’s the worry , im happy to see the full weight of the law applied to her and if it’s lawful great . I just worry about the thin end of the wedge , we have a system for a reason .
It's a horrible situation to be in, but one that needs rational thought and attention to process rather than an emotional response.

Do we deny her and her child British Citizenship and deal with all the inherent precedent that sets. Likewise you lose the opportunity to gain knowledge and potentially learn about her desire to go there and combat it in future instances.

If we bring her back, she'll be tried in court, but there is no guarantee of conviction (though I suspect likely). But then she's exposed to the prison system which is a breeding ground for terror.

We bring her back and she's not convicted, it puts a burden on the state as she's never going to be able to return to a 'normal life' in the UK.

I’ve said at least once I thing the government have sleptwalk through a lot of this but I’m also glad I’m not making a decision about it because I’m not sure what the right one is . Personally if there is a basis in law I’m probably ok with either.

'send her back to Raqqa and let ISIS deal with her'

12 months on - she's a suicide bomber killing people here or abroad:

'someone should have done something about this, can't believe we just let her go'
To be fair seeing as she is now an infidel she wouldn't last 2 minutes back in Raqqa. Leave the kid at the camp though so that he actually stands a chance at life, the poor mite. I would personally like her brought to justice though. She left the UK and decided to join a terror organisation. I hope, somehow, she is made to face the music.

What chance of life do you think the child will have in a refugee camp, poor mite?

Isis members would have some fun with her, then take her apart limb by limb in their casually violent way for speaking out about a desire to leave. Possibly on camera as a warning to those other 'weak' women, not to do the same.
Or more dangerously they wouldn't, which means they were on board with her coming back to England... can't think why that would be.

For me I would say it's easier to spot her crossing a border she isn't allowed to cross than to let her in and wonder why she disappeared in the UK before she blew herself up.

The baby however deserves a life away from the lunatics that run in that family though and should be adopted, but of course it's down to the law and never that straight forwards. I don't understand what drives someone to risk everything to become a part of something that evil if you are not at least partly that way inclined to start.

Once again though religion spreads anger and hate. I genuinely actually prefer the RS over religion (I guess its a cult v religion argument that one). It makes people do things that without it, most people wouldn't even dream of doing, in the name of something there is no proof for, over arguments about who's book is right, subsequently causing misery and death to millions.

I don't want to enter a theological debate (that's not true), but I'm just saying, without religion think of how much more advanced we would be with over 2bilion additional people actively working towards scientific enlightenment, without religion two very large buildings still stand in America, without religion Rwanda has a much bigger population, without religion aids in 3rd world countries could be battled, the list is endless, the little things the religious orders do don't touch the surface of nightmares that they cause throughout the world.

The quicker scientists find out if there is or isn't a god (they are the only ones trying to actually find out after all) and if there is, which one, the better. I will drop to my knees and worship whatever if there was some actual evidence, but the carnage caused without evidence I think I will never understand.

Feel free to bin this post if it's a bit much mods.

Get him out the camp and with a nice new family. Poor mite.
Not sure how you square this with International law and particularly the Convention of Rights of Children.

The difficulty here, as I've said, is that the government have not released the reasoning. So it's hard to debate the relevant section of law that might apply in this particular instance.
