Go in at 2.59. It's a crap ground. No TV screen bar one in the top corner. Beer overpriced , exterior walkways a death trap (avoid the Gallowgate End) . Internal signage misleading ..

It's a bit like Anfield. Similar fans but a bit colder.

After game drinks will start in the Union Rooms near the railway station. They stipulate no colours in both venues.

It very much is my man. Super rich students who couldn’t get into oxford or Cambridge. Punchbowl in Jesmond has been done out recently and has some nice beers on. Not ridiculously far from the ground. Think someone mentioned the Bodega earlier. Really nice old pub. Doubt there’d be any bother in there.

St James is only a few minutes walk from the city centre so everyone will be in town till quite close to kick off. Most Blues will be in one of the pubs near the railway station or the Weatherspoons ( Union something ? ).

Oh, in case you've got asthma, use the lift at the ground to get to your seat, they're a bloody long way up !

I've only had very good experiences of visiting Newcastle. I prefer it when we play them midweek as is a good excuse for an overnight stop. Plenty of places to drink. Id recommend the Bodega on Westgate Rd. Usually plenty of Evertonians in there but advise against wearing colours.

Yes the Bodega is a decent Pub and not far from the Station. (A few yards from the Tyne Theatre if you want to get your bearings)

Stayed there once for the Friday night. Must have been on the annual kick and hit your inbred brother/sister day. Went out for a meal and when looking for a pub in town to drink in afterwards, it was literally kicking of in front of any of them.

Got a few cans of beer in a local store and went back to my room.
