Best Away fans at Goodison

Who would you say has been the best set of away fans who have visited Goodison over the years? I'd say West Ham in 2011, they sang for whole game, even when they were crap. Worst away fans in my experience RS and Newcastle. Newcastle only took full allocation when they got taken over and RS only sing when they're winning and are quiet are church mice when they're drawing or losing.

The SK Brann fans were lively, loud even though we won 6-1.

AEK were amazing. Domestically I never like these things, there's too many differentials with kick off times, what's riding on the game, what our fans are like, what's happening on the pitch etc to be able to say one set of fans is better than another. I also have a pathological hatred for the sort of zany 'look at us having a whale of a time even though we're getting beat 5-0' antics that some people would see as good support. If you're getting beat 5-0 by us you should be absolutely raging and either staying just to let the players know how much you despise them with every fibre of your being, or seeing the last 2 being reported on soccer saturday in the pub you've been in for the last half hour.

Fair to say that in any European competition, away games are more for the experience rather than the result (in a relative sense), so it's a bit unfair to compare these to PL games.

But the best fans I met were Wolfsburg ,had a few drinks after the match in town .

I thought the Wolves fans have been the best this season anyway, they didn’t stop singing all game and it was a midweek one and we beat them 4-0

Always remember Pompey fans who travelled up for a midweek night game when they were in the prem. wasn’t loads of them but they didn’t stop all game and bit of a trek for a night game that was for them

They are a bit lively aren't they. Went to watch PSG play them in Paris last year and we were sat relatively close to them in the stand, bloody nutters.

Friendliest have been Brentford for me. Though the Spurs fans I met this time around were good as gold - they had the same gallows humour about the state of their club as we often have. Worst by far are the Leeds fans. Drunk, scruffy, vicious and stupid. Saw one try to pick a fight with a bin.
