Steve Watson's hat-trick goal v Leeds from about 45 yards. Laughed my head off when that went in, just because it was Steve Watson and he'd just scored a hat-trick

Big Dunc against Utd at Old Trafford, 1996.

Turned on the edge of the box and unleashed this scorcher right into the top bin, best i'd ever seen him play that night.

It was a sneaky one that didnt get the coverage it deserved, a dull 1-1 VS Brum away awfull match so it wasnt really covered by the media or on TV. We were 1-0 down Brum under McLeaish had 11 men behind the ball, Joe Hart was in goal, Vic came on and played on the right, came in from the right hand side and slotted into top left hand corner past Hart from outside the box. The game was that bad MOTD etc didnt really give any air time of note.

That was a 2-2er mate, we let a 2-0 lead slip.

Anichebe opened the scoring with that piledriver before Yakubu made it two a couple of minutes later, Jerome scored before Craig f*cking Gardner screamed one in on the volley in the second half.

Poor fella came in the pub with a shocked look on his face..."f*cking hell we were up 2-0 when i'd left the house!"

Baines v Newcastle last season. Also the Jelavic winner v Spurs at home last season will stick in my memory for a long time.

Other notables. Big Dunc v United at home 1-0, and Carsley v Liverpool.

I think Mirallas' first goal against West Ham in Moyes last home game didn't get the credit it deserved. Lovely passing move from one end of the pitch to the other, and at the end of it Fellaini rolls the ball to Pienaar on the edge of the area, who rolls it to Mirallas, who just places it in the corner. Not the most spectacular, perhaps, but a fantastic team goal, and when it went in, I just thought, "Now that's the way I want to see us play." Hopefully, we'll see more of that under Martinez.

We were brilliant that day, if only we played that like that when it actually counts for something

I haven't actually seen the compilation DVD of all our prem goals EVER, but which is your best?

I know everyone is going to say Rooney v Arsenal 2002 or Carsley v Liverpool 2004, don't just judge them on the significance or the opposition, say what characteristics you like about them.

Consider everything, execution, technical quality, skill etc.

Answers on a postcard si vous plais.

My best... Rooney v Arsenal 2002 :p

I agree sir!

Surprised no one has mentioned the infamous Manny Fernandes. Even though his character was a little questionable that goal against Utd when he feints inside and then pushes it wide and hits a rocket near corner against Van der Sar.

I'd totally forgotten about that. All goals can be seen if you search "leeds everton 2003 04" on YouTube, the top result. Can't post it myself as post count isn't high enough

Four great goals. The link-up between Dunc and Watson for the first is fantastic. And how good does McFadden look in that vid?!

Only picking goals that I've seen live so Rooney vs Leeds away in 02-03 was magic. Arteta's free kick against Hull was a great one. Jelavic's against City in March was ace purely from the roar around the ground when it went in, fan-bloody-tastic

Best in the Prem (not Everton)?
I'd say Rooney's overhead kick against city. Not only so technically amazing, but being so late in the game, a go ahead goal, in a derby match, that moment was just amazing.
