Best Performance Under David Moyes?

Most recent Fiorentina home and the 1st half of the Arsenal match.

Other quality performances

2004: Taking apart and throughly dominating a hot Boro team that was in 3rd place at the time

Destroying Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park 4-0 with the [Poor language removed] hot on our heels.

i would have to say portsmouth at home this season, they where our closest challangers and we dealt with them comfortably.

I have to disagree with the 3-0 win against the RS the result was great but if i remember it right we was under allot of preasure for long periods in the game.

I'd say the 3-1 away at the Villa or 2-0 away at Man City. Two classy performances an i was at both.

Great Away days.

Oh hang on..................

What about Moyses first away win an Derby Co. 4-3 us, we were 4-1 up if i remember. We were so [Poor language removed] at the time, an derby were mid table. One of my fav games of all time. Dont think i'd seen us win away for about 2 years.

I still haven't forgotten the opener to the '06-'07 season at Spurs where Kilbane got himself sent off early in the match, we hadn't won at White Hart Lane for years, and we still won 2-0.

Good times.

No it was the 3rd game of the season.

We had Watford and Blackburn before the Spurs game.

And the home game against Fiorentina, that was just a breathtaking display of football on our parts

all we did was hoof it against them....the fact that they were inept made us look good...it wouldnt have even gone to extra time if we had played breathtaking football

might seem like am jumping on the bandwagon but that villa away game was briliant. i dont get to a lot of away games but i went to this one on my own, and i remember standing behind the goal and wen ossie slotted his second i couldnt even celebrate...i was gobsmacked, it was the first time i had ever seen football like it from us...we it was topped this season vs sunderland and again ossies mazy run.

Best performance - the win at Spurs 2 seasons ago. (y)

Best moment - for me, Cahill's equaliser at Stamford Bridge last November - an unforgetable moment!!

Was that not the second game mate!

You know, I said I hadn't forgotten it but I guess I had.

I'm terrible about remembering matches and when they happened.

It blows me away when someone talks about a certain match in a certain month and year and I'm struggling just to remember any of the match itself.

For some reason, I thought we started our season with that game but I guess I needed to be corrected.

Blackburn anyone!

The Blackburn game where we went ahead, then had Turner (who was standing in goal for the injured Wright who jumped into an advertisement sign just before the game?! :D) dismissed for a foul and then managed to grind out a win with 10 men and an under 18-keeper.

That was a hell of a game and Nil Satis Nisi Optimum - commitmentwise.

But of course, 3 - 0 Liverpool. We were celebrating my dad in Stockholm (I'm a Swede and no turnip jokes) and I sneaked away from the family to watch the game at a pub... Sneaked in to a sports bar with my blue shirt and found a sea of red ones! Haha. Thought I saw a fellow blue wearing a blue Williams (?) jersey only to realize that he was only watching a formel 1-race wondering what the hell he had just gotten himself into... I just thought to myself that "come on Everton you better not embarass you're self out there on the field". After 90 minutes gone my mind quoted Bart Simpson thinking " there's only one thing to do in a moment like this! - STRUT!" so I walked head high and with the grimmest smile ever across a pub full of 50 or so kopites. IN YER FACE!!!

Fiorentina at home last season for me. Never has a italian side been put to the test so much that day. It was a joy to watch an everton side dismantle a team in that way, pity about the final result

I second this one too (though I'm drawing from a smaller pool than most). The most inspired play I've seen from an Everton squad.

omg.. i'm trying to put the fiorentina result out of my mind.

how can you look back to a game which ended in such heartache?

sure we battered them, but that was the lowest i'd felt following the blues since the villareal game.

a truely great game has a happy ending.

liverpool 3-0 was amazing.
