Id have to say Gurd Muller was pretty special. Also Liniker was a natural. RVN has always been a goal machiane. Romario was another who would always get his name on the score sheet. Hate to say it but Ian Rush was another who alwasy scored plenty of goals. But top of the list must be Dixie. The one an only!!

It was a real shame van Basten was cut short by injury. He would have been one of the all time greats I think, even more so than he already is. The most complete striker I've ever seen. As for Papin he has to go down as an unfulfilled talent. Went to Milan as part of their Dream Team and fell through the cracks.

Funny story about Papin. At the beginning of his career he was known for missing goals. Then he worked his way and became the most eficient player I've seen shooting at goal. He was near always on target or pretty close. He could shoot from any point of the field. Amazing player to me, because of his example. He shows us that you can work to be a true efficient striker.
