Best Everton Goal

I've been watching the Sigurdsson goal again today, I think people will be talking about that for a long time. Stephen Peinaar against Arsenal was a good one. Graham Sharpe against the RS was my favorite though, but will always have a fondness for Adrian Heath's goal courtousy of Kevin Brock.

There are so many, Cadamatri, Alan Ball, Sharpie, Jags for the timing if nothing more!, but the one that sticks out for me is Derek Temple in the '66 final (even though it was in black and white :D) . And I think he did the same the following season but can't remember the opponents.

Couldn't agree more. Apart from my adoration of Big Bob, the fact that I saw Martin Dobson in an Everton shirt still fills me with joy.
Dobbo always seemed to be strolling, calmest player I have ever seen in a blue shirt! So composed and so, so skillful. He would be immense in todays game. I worked with a Burnley lad for years and everytime we went to the pub I used to say "The first one's on me, thats for Davy Thomas and Martin Dobson" :)

I was in that lot as a young kid;)
The think most people nowadays dont realise is that Sprake (i think it was Sprake in the leeds goal) would have decapitated Royle had he connected with him, and nobody would have batted an eyelid, such was the nature of the game back then! No hysterics, no rolling around because you had 'anticipated' a foul :/

Alanbileysfeather mentioned this one, surprised nobody else has. When I saw the goal the other night I thought of this straight away.

Can't find the post now someone asked about Derick Temples' goal the season after Wembley. IIRC it was against Fulham 66/67 season
