I was just inking, watching that Lukaku goasl, how very, very lucky the kids of today are that they will have such a comprehensive library of high quality film of what will be (to them) legendary players! Seeing those grany images of Bob Latchford and Sheedy makes me realise how much beautiful football has been lost

I was in the Main Stand near that end, had a great view of it, magic in that left foot.

If you put in "Everton 85 rare footage" in YouTube, think it's in 3 parts, all the goals from that season are on there, filmed from the main stand.
I was in the Street end all season, apart from the Munich game, and it's fascinating to see all the goals from a different view point.
It's weird how your memory tricks you in to remembering all the goals as viewed by the Tv cameras.

Me too,we had some great players and some great Evertonians in that side, we just were so bloody unlucky!!That side at the very least deserved one trophy

Couldn't agree more. Apart from my adoration of Big Bob, the fact that I saw Martin Dobson in an Everton shirt still fills me with joy.

Still hard to beat Sharpie at the pit but Iceman a close 2nd and a grudging nod to Osman v Larissa
