Loved absolutely everything about Sydney when I was there for a year.

Spent 3 weeks there and it is the best of British (relaxed, tolerant, decent beer, unarmed population) crossed with the best of American (good service, beautiful weather, cars still have V8's, they still like rock music)

based on living somewhere for a period > 3 months - Beijing, lots to do, food is brilliant and the girls very keen. Jakarta if you want to get downright filthy rude.

Dubai is okay for 2 or 3 days, feels a bit plastic and you need a shedful of money !!!

.....it's a real party place but you need somebody who lives out there who knows the places to go and what times the happy hours are. The Address is right opposite the Burje, stunning but even better when the half price booze is flowing.

The burge Khalifa is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
It's like something out of a science fiction movie

....yep, I find myself staring at it for ages just wondering what it took to build. Little Eggs said he flew in once and a chunk of it was sticking out the clouds. Great at night with the colour changes and a drink in your hand on the Address terrace.

Was over there on holiday when they were building it, they said it was being built at a rate of 2 floors a day
