That's my top 5 too. I would have Kevin Campbell on the bench instead of Lineker

Obvious names so going with 5 lesser ones that I still liked watching and who generaally gave their all
1. Adrian Heath- very underrated and if only he hadn't had that injury....
2. Paul Rideout - gave us 95 and having lost four other finals I have been to will always love the man
3. Duncan McKenzie - gave us joy when the RS were sweeping all before them
4. Danny Cadamarteri - just for that goal
5. Kevin Campbell - saved us

That goal was my childhood! My first football team I played for (under 8s I think) I demanded to wear the number 29 shirt because of Danny!

Never rated johnson, beattie and saha would play well not even for a few games but for moments in games, Campbell was good for a season and a half as was Jeffers, but the boys above when in top form and fully fit were better players

Sharp - for his hold up play and intelligence.

Gray - for his bravery and never say die attitude.

Latchford - for those thirty goals that season.

Super Kev - for saving us from going down whilst on loan and moving the club forward by at least a decade in terms of the racist tag that we had as a club.

Not to extent he was vilified for. More than half the times it was legit. I'd say closer to about 20-25% of the times he dove. Compare that to like 50-60 for most RS and they STILL got penalties.

Definitely. I think the refs were worse then.
