Im not a big fan of 3 at the back, but if we played it, he would currently be in my 3, I personally wouldnt pick him ahead of Jags, Keane, Williams at CB in a 2 tho.

So in short, if we playing 3 at the back, yes for sure, 2 at the back, unless Keane, Williams or Jags were injured, no.
Yes I think I'd agree.

look at it this way, he's taller than Sanchez and Aguero, slightly smaller than Firminho....Llorente, Carroll, Lukaku, Kane all taller but Keane can deal with the Lumpy lads! Besic would probably still win a header against Lukaku regardless lol the more I think about it I like the idea of a nippy, fast tackling, tight marking determined lad like Besic alongside Keane...this could be a master stroke by Koeman putting him back in his old position

I suppose we wont know until we come up against quality opposition. Wont have to wait long should RK be up for taking a chance.

TBH I'd rather try it out in the City game rather than the Stoke game. Think that Jesus lad is going to be a star this season.

Besi = 5ft 9 1/2 Koeman = 5ft 11 1/3 just under 2 inches in the difference...
According to the Mrs that 2inches makes all the difference. Anyway.... Been pondering this myself since the last injury. Would he be any good, certainly would scare the hell out of most strikers who play off the shoulder thats for sure.

I would find a position for him just to have him on the pitch. His attitude and energy when he steps over that white line would set a great example to the rest of the youngsters in the squad.
