Just listened to that city talk post on the Heitinga thread...

Moyes wouldn't be drawn on Bentley, seemed very coy.

Basically saying we aren't in the business of talking about other clubs' players.

He's alot better than Osman, lets be honest. He'd be an improvement and it'd give us a chance to move Pienaar/Bilyaletdinov inside whilst Arteta's out.

I'd rather have a central midfielder but I'd certainly take Bentley.

True mate, just wouldnt have been my first option, a loan with an option seems a senisble option - Danny makes a good point i assume he means wages etc.

I was thinking the same thing, actually i was thinking all fit of Pienaar and Arteta inside and Billy and Bentley outwide with a fifth anchor playing DM.

Yes. With bells on. If he has the wrong attitude then Moyes will not sign him, if he talks the talk and walks the walk then Moyes will sign him.

Talent wise?? the lad has oodles of it. It just needs to be channelled, and who better the the red haired one?

50k a week and job done.

So this is a goer then or are you just guessing?

the way the radio stations have talked about it down south its as if its a done deal. i think it would be a great move for both parties. i really cannot understand people saying no, he was the apparent heir to beckhams throne and as with lots of players he went stale at spurs. get him playing again and hes a talent. no. doubt.

Agreed.

He's a player with a point to prove, I think he could do well at Everton.
