No way that he is the solution for a Gana departure. For sure our fate would depend on McCarthy (for more of the same) or a miraculous recovery by Schneiderlin

A 433 with McCarthy anchoring it and Bernard and Sigurdsson ahead of him would be the best permutation we could go for with our squad. Creativity in behind a new attacker could transform our season.

McCarthy simply can’t be relied upon. Get rid of him and get someone who can sit infront of the defence, win the ball and actually pass it well.

The fact the management don't have him higher than Davies in the pecking order is a cause for concern. He did look decent in his few cameos though.
