….liked him lots when he stood out playing for the youngsters in the Dallas Cup (?) quite a few years ago.

He looked a potential Gueye Academy product but its not worked out for him. I’m sure he’ll have a career in the game and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him step up from the Scottish league at sometime in the future. Hope we have a % of future transfers built into the deal.

Had hoped his loan spell at Wigan under Big Joe would be the making of him but don’t think he even kicked a ball for them.

Mad how so many players come through with hype and end up doing nothing when it comes down to it.
I remember seeing play v Chelsea away in the League cup and he did very well that night. Disappointed that he didn't come through, which is the same for a lot of the guys that make a name for themselves in the U23s. There never seems to be many of them actually coming up through the under age set up and making it to the first team. Makes me think that the under age set up is just as badly functioning as the senior side. Tom Davies apart, we've not produced very much for the last couple of decades. Rooney the exception who went on to achieve a lot in the game, and Barkley, who never lived up to the high standard people expected of him. Can't think of any others.
